Villa Romignano is placed in the hart of Tuscany, only 20 km from Florence; you can reach the town by car or by train in 30 minutes (train service from Borgo S.Lorenzo train station). Visiting Florence, one of the most beautiful cities in the world, is a must during your stay in Romignano. In the Villa surroundings you can also visit the roman church of San Cresci (15 min walk), Basilica San Godenzo , built in 1000 AD (20 min by car) and Scarperia village (15 min by car).

Villa Romignano sits on the top of the hill, overlooking Borgo San Lorenzo, only 4 km away. In Borgo you'll be able to find shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Vicchio village is also 4 km away.

Historic visit to the Futa War Cemetery, where are buried the bodies of over 5,000 german soldiers who died during World War 2 whilst defending the Gothic line.

You can reach Bilancino lake (www.bilancinolagoditoscana.it) in by car in 20 min; here you can sunbathe and swim.

A few minutes away from the lake you can also find the Barberino outlet (barberino.designer-outlet.it), where you can find many shops from the most famous italian fashion designers that offer from 30% to 50% discount on the retail price.

In Ciliegi, 25 km south from the villa you can find another well known outlet with many designer shops such as Gucci and Armani (www.outlet-the-mall.com).
